Mary Had a Little Lamb - The Kiboomers. Mary Had A Little Lamb. Mary Had a Little Lamb is an English language nursery rhyme of nineteenth-century American origin. It has a Roud Folk Song Index number of 7622. The nursery rhyme was first published by the Boston publishing firm Marsh, Capen & Lyon, as a poem by Sarah Josepha Hale on May 24, 1830, and was possibly inspired by an actual incident. As described in one of Hale's biographies: . Old Macdonald had a farm 2. Mary had a little lamb 3. The farmer in the dell 4. Oh where Oh where has my little dog gone 5. Shoo fly don't bother me had a little lamb Its fleece was white as snow And everywhere that Mary went, The lamb was sure to go. It followed her to school one day, Which was against the rule It made the children laugh and play To see a lamb at school. And so the teacher turned it out But still it lingered near, And waited patiently about Till Mary did appear. According to Mary herself, Roulstones original contained only the three stanzas, while Hales version had an additional three stanzas at the end. Mary admitted she had no idea how Hale had gotten Roulstones poem. Dick Robertson. The Farmer in the DellMary Had A Little Lamb Shellac, 10. Vender esta versión.
