Never liked either of that duo's productions - just not my kind of stuff, but that EP is something exceptional.This has something of a Killawatt's Bring Down The Walls, who took step toward the techno direction, and I absolutely loved it.5/5 in hope to see more of that kind.

ignore the stupid carry on. this release is huge. no doubt. its just the usual against-the-grainers trying to play it down. in here is a very special track

This is a pity. I'm a huge fan of Joy O and Boddika, but it's only when you hear the full version of these tracks that you realize how far they've kinda strayed from the explorative club sensibilities that they're both famous for. "In Here" makes great use of the fractured little choppy vocal sample, but it's more drum-machine chug than anything else. Hearing samples or Youtube rips, you feel like there's going to be this big cathartic buildup, but it just kinda dissolves into fuzzy nothingness at the end. "More Maim" is kinda funny - like weird clown horn techno, almost sounds a bit like they chopped up the rhythm of Kesha's "Timber". Though it's probably true that each Sunklo release has tackled a different genre (Sunklo1 was banger territory, 2 was deep house, 3 was weird ambience, 4 is "functional techno"), this one isn't a highlight in my humble/dumb-le opinion

why were you expecting a big cathartic build up? imo the track does an excellent job of controlling itself and keeping a steady and extremely catchy/appealing tone/beat or whatever... far too much arbitrary and pedantic cynicism surrounding this release.

Don't despair yet people. This hasn't even been fully released yet; compare the mere 95 owners (as of posting) with the number of Haves on the other 3. There are certainly to be plenty more copies of this showing up everywhere soon, at least that's my guess.
