Mistrial is the fourteenth solo studio album by American musician Lou Reed, released in June 1986 by RCA Records two years after his previous album, New Sensations 1984. Fernando Saunders and Reed produced the album. Mistrial peaked at No. 47 on the U. Billboard 200 and at No. 69 on the UK Albums Chart. Two singles were released from the album: The Original Wrapper and No Money Down with the latter being the only single to chart, peaking at No. 75 on the ARIA Charts. A music video was created. Mistrial - Lou Reed. Лента с персональными рекомендациями и музыкальными новинками, радио, подборки на любой вкус, удобное управление своей коллекцией. Between 1982 and 1984, Lou Reed put together the best band of his solo career, recorded three superb albums, and left behind a fine live double after two rapturously received world tours - not a bad track record from a guy who had been so inconsistent throughout the 1970s. One might well have argued that Lou was due for a disappointment, and Mistrial certainly filled that bill. Songs in album Lou Reed - Mistrial 1986. Lou Reed - Mistrial. Lou Reed - No Money Down. Programmed drums on many of the tracks create a mechanized feel, while bassist Fernando Saunders colors the bottom end like no other in rock 'n' roll. No Money Down takes rockabilly into the 80s with a detached vocal that seems to be apologizing for the mess. Lou's criminally underappreciated 1986 release. Here are five that deserve your reassessment. Below are five albums selected from The RCA & Arista Album Collection that rank among Reeds best-both in sonic and aesthetic rediscovery-yet which never quite received the proper adulation they should have enjoyed upon their original release. For all the beautiful, challenging and thought-provoking music Lou Reed provided us during his too-brief time on earth, you owe it to him to give these records a second shot if you blew them off the first time or were swayed by a naysaying review
