Walking the Line - Oscar Peterson Trio. Лента с персональными рекомендациями и музыкальными новинками, радио, подборки на любой вкус, удобное управление своей. Oscar Peterson's series of recordings for Hans Georg Brunner-Schwer during the 1960s and early '70s are one of many high points in his long career. With George Jiri Mraz on bass and Ray Price on drums, Peterson's flashy romp through I Love You complete with a humorous detour into the opera Pagliacci and mid-tempo walk through All of You salute Cole Porter in style on Walking the Line. The Trio alternatively titled The Trio: Live From Chicago is a 1961 live album by the Oscar Peterson Trio, recorded at the London House jazz club in Chicago, during a period in which the pianist was generally in peak form. Three other Oscar Peterson Trio albums were also released featuring music from the London House concerts: The Sound of the Trio, Something Warm and Put On a Happy Face. The complete sessions were released in 1996 as The London House Sessions. Walking The Line. Oscar Peterson - Walking The Line 1970. To favorites 1 Download album. Listen album. Oscar Peterson. An added bonus to this vinyl release is Hubertus Malls fantastic drawing of Peterson featured on the cover. Peterson is joined by bassist Georg Mraz and drummer Ray Price for this release which is bookended by two Cole Porter Classics, I Love You, and All of You. This, another trio album and one with Peterson solo, were recorded at the Hans Georg Brunner-Schwer Studio in Villingen, Germany on November 10 through 13, 1970. Each of the three have their own strengths, and I am not going to call out one specifically as the best because my opinion shifts too much.
