Alternating between a raunchy, blues-inflected vibe and a more genteel, countrified approach to their DIY sound, Jack and Meg White have us stomping our boots to the jumping Hotel Yorba and Little Room, and banging our heads to the hard-hitting Fell in Love with a Girl and the swampy, distortion-fueled Dead Leaves and the Dirty Ground. The album also reached number 55 in the United Kingdom, being bolstered in both territories by the Fell in Love with a Girl single and its Lego-animation music video. As produced by Doug Easley, it sounds exactly how an underground sensation's breakthrough album should: bigger and tighter than their earlier material, but not so polished that it will scare away longtime fans. Admittedly, White Blood Cells lacks some of the White Stripes' blues influence and urgency, but it perfects the pop skills the duo honed on De Stijl and expands on them

Sounds great! But, side 2 label is on both sides. I bought it sealed and new. Thankfully, all songs are on there. Anyone else have this labeling error?

Surely the best way to enjoy The White Stripes? The songs sound great on vinyl.

Sounds great. Quieter noise floor than the CD. Not a lot of low end but that's kinda the White Stripes sound. I Think I Smell a Rat sounds fantastic!

This is a really nice pressing. No problems with mine whatsoever - and lovely to see it coming in a audiophile plastic-coated paper sleeve so none of the crap that comes with so many paper wrapped discs nowadays.
